Stock accounting of Gold / Silver / Platinum / Diamond / Color stones / Ready made jewellery / Copper based jewellery and other gift articles will be maintained by software. Metal balances are maintained in weight where as other gift article item stock is maintained in numbers and value.
GS-11 (Old metal register), GS-12 (New metal register).
Register wise stock for metal can be maintained in the formats of GS-11 and GS-12. Suitable printing formats for old and new ornament registers are provided. You can have only one register for metal in and metal out. Else you can use separate register for old metal and new ornaments. These registers can have gross wt, net wt, and pure wt. options. You can maintained purity wise stock registers if needed. Day wise summary of these registers are also available.
Smith registers with alloy / Wastage provisions (If needed).
Smith register considers allow, wastage alone with metal and stones issues and receipts. Refinery losses can be account properly. Metal, stone balance of smith is available in smith stock summery report.
Summery report of stock.
Summary report matches register wise stock with trading account stock. i.e. opening metal stock + purchases - sales should match with metal registers like old metal register, new ornament registers, smith register balance and customer metal receipts balance. This tallied report insures that metal stock accounting is done proper.
Valuation of stock.
Valuation of stock with different methods can be provided.
